Individual Therapy

Individual therapy can offer a space to slow down, better understand yourself, and feel more supported through life’s challenges. I work with adults experiencing a variety of emotional, relational, and nervous system struggles, including:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • grief and loss

  • low self-worth

  • chronic shame

  • perfectionism

  • relationship struggles

  • overwhelm and burnout

  • life transitions

  • emotional disconnection

Whether these experiences are connected to trauma, neurodivergence, attachment wounds, or an especially activating season of life, therapy can help you better understand your patterns and begin building new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Therapy Rooted in Curiosity, Compassion, and Self-Understanding

Many of us develop coping strategies and protective systems in order to survive difficult experiences or environments. At one point, these systems likely helped us get through something important. Over time, though, they can begin to feel limiting, exhausting, or out of alignment with who we are becoming.

In our work together, we focus on getting curious rather than judgmental.

Therapy can help you understand the deeper roots of your anxiety, perfectionism, shame, relationship struggles, or overwhelm while creating space for new patterns to emerge. Rather than forcing change, we work toward greater awareness, self-compassion, flexibility, and connection.

My Approach to Individual Therapy

I work holistically and from the ground up. This means we pay attention to what may be happening not only in the mind, but also in the body, nervous system, emotions, relationships, and inner world.

Together, we explore your experiences at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.

My approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that each person already holds deep wisdom within themselves. My role is not to “fix” you, but to help create a space of safety, consistency, reflection, and guidance where healing and self-understanding can unfold.

The Importance of the Therapeutic Relationship

I believe the relationship we build in therapy can be deeply healing. Therapy is also a vulnerable and intimate process, and trust often takes time to develop.

Because of this, I encourage us to move slowly in the beginning and create space for you to notice what feels supportive, safe, and aligned for you.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You only need a willingness to begin.
