Individual Therapy

I work with folks who are experiencing a variety of challenges. This includes:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • grief

  • low self-worth

  • relationship struggles

  • chronic shame

  • perfectionism

  • overwhelm

Whether these challenges are a result of trauma, neurodivergence, or a particularly activating time in your life (i.e. big changes and transitions), we can start to explore what you may need in order to feel better supported.

Getting curious rather than judgmental can help this self-exploration. We develop systems and strategies to survive in this world. Sometimes those systems can become outdated and it’s our job to learn how to update our system.

How does it work?

I work with folks holistically and from the ground up. This means that we will consider what is happening in our bodies, our nervous system, our mind, our heart, and our spirit. In order to update a system we have to recognize what the system is.

I trust and believe that each individual holds a lot of the answers they may be seeking. I also hold that it is my job to provide a sense of safety, consistency, and guidance when needed.

I have learned through my own work in the client seat that the relationship with our therapist can be deeply healing. It is also an incredibly vulnerable and intimate process. Trust-building can take time so I often encourage that we move slowly in the beginning.

If any of this sounds like a good fit for you email me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to get started.
